Upgraded ‘Avatar Masked Singer’ for the Metaverse Era
US Fox TV is planning to air an audition program called Alter Ego, a metaverse version of the hit music contest in Korea, the King of Mask Singer.
Beyond the limit of wearing a mask and covering only the face, the singer's avatar appears on the stage virtually using motion capture technology in line with the metaverse era.
When the performers equip their equipment and perform, the avatars compete on the actual stage, perform magic, and fly to create a spectacular performance.
Fox's Alter Ego is truly shaping up to be a singing competition like you've never seen before.
