QuantumScape is a renewable energy company that develops solid-state battery technology to increase the range of electric cars.
A spin-off company from Stanford that develops solid-state battery technology that major automakers such as Hyundai, BMW, and Toyota are interested in and are pursuing.
Including $100 million investment in 2018, Volkswagen invested a total of $300 million. Volkswagen aims to build a production line in '25 and is discussing a pilot plant with this company.
