Promising technology that captures and sells CO2 from the air

Climeworks, a Swiss company, is a promising company that has secured air carbon capture technology that directly filters CO2 from the surrounding air through an adsorption-desorption process.

The world's first commercial carbon capture plant, built in Switzerland in 2017, captures and sells 900 tons of CO2 from the ambient air each year, generating huge profits.

Carbon is the most valuable resource on earth, according to Climeworks, which has developed machines that suck it from the air so it can be

turned into useful materials.
