Premium razor subscription service – $155 million in investment
Harry is a developer of an online platform used to sell shaving equipment and accessories for men.
Harry's, which has grown rapidly by offering affordable premium razors, has a $1.37 billion takeover agreement by Schick's parent company Edgewell, which was ruled out in 2020.
After the acquisition, Edgewell's plan to take over the North American market was converted to a strategy to expand its own products, expanding its products to men's/women's shaving products, shampoo, lotion, etc.
Harry's
It designs and manufactures its own line of razors and replacement blades, as well as other shaving consumables, and offers its products a-la-carte via its online store or through a subscription model that enables consumers to meet their grooming essentials need online.
The company was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in New York.
